Keith Linde, beloved husband, friend, and lifelong sports enthusiast, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on November 8, 1949, in New York City, Keith was the only child of devoted parents who instilled in him a love for the vibrant city life.
Keith attended the City College of New York, where he pursued his passion for creativity and communication, leading him to a successful career in advertising. His work took him to Los Angeles, where he spent eight formative years honing his craft and making lasting friendships.
In the 1980s, a career opportunity brought Keith to Atlanta, where he met the love of his life, Janna Calhoun. The two were married in 1989, beginning a beautiful partnership that spanned three decades. They later moved to New Jersey, where they built their lives together, both professionally and personally. Keith and Janna shared a deep affection for the beach, making annual trips to Destin, Florida, a cherished tradition. Their love for the coastal life eventually led them to retire in Niceville, Florida, where they enjoyed the serene beauty of the Emerald Coast.
Keith and Janna's home was always filled with joy and the wagging tails of their beloved golden retrievers, including Bailey and Nilla. The couple's love for their dogs was well-known among friends and family, and the companionship of these loyal pets brought immense happiness to their lives.
An avid sports fan, Keith was a lifelong supporter of the New York Giants, never missing a game and always cheering passionately for his team. His enthusiasm for sports extended beyond watching; he enjoyed playing golf, particularly relishing the sunny days on Florida’s picturesque courses.
After Janna's passing in 2019, Keith continued to embrace life with resilience and a positive spirit. He remained in their cherished home in Niceville, surrounded by the community they had grown to love.
Keith Linde's memory will be forever treasured by those who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones and his passions will be deeply missed. Keith is survived by his extended family of nieces and nephews, and many friends who will continue to celebrate his remarkable life and the joyful memories he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Keith’s memory to a local animal shelter or the New York Giants Foundation, honoring his love for animals and sports. A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends to commemorate Keith's life and legacy
