It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katrina "Kat" Glover, 40, of Mineral Wells, Texas, surrounded by her family while her son, Bryant, with his guitar, sang "Cherry Wine" by Hozier. She passed at Baylor Hospital on September 15, 2015. She was born in Fort Morgan, Colorado on October 27, 1974. Her giving spirit resulted in a wide circle of family and friends. She had a passion for helping others. She was known in the community for her tremendous dedication to many causes, especially the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Her passion for life was reflected in how she lived each day and evident in the many lives she touched. She had a zeal for all things sunflower. In recent years, her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter, Aaliyah, and watching her grow. She was loved deeply by her husband, Paul, who would patiently sigh as she'd welcome anyone in need into their home. She was blessed with many "best friends". She will be remembered with fondness, respect, and a smile. She will be forever cherished by her soul-mate: Paul Glover, daughters: Adrianne Larson and Hailey Dupsky, sons: Jordan Glover and Bryant Armstrong, daughter-in-law: Allison Hay, son-in-law: Ricky McDaniel, granddaughters: Aaliyah Larson and Aubree McDaniel, and grandson: Alexander (named by his Nana), who will arrive in January, mother: Beverly Bernhardt of Colorado, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Steve and Dusty Glover, grandmother-in-law: Jeanne Wright, brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Ray and Casey Glover, sisters: LeAnn Bernhardt and Ginny Piland both of Colorado, brothers: Shawn Bernhardt of Idaho, Allen Piland of Missouri, Troy Piland of Alabama, James Bernhardt of Colorado, numerous nieces and nephews, best friends: Mary Medrano and Nathan Henderson, and her "Chili-head" family. She was preceded in death by her father: Ross Bernhardt and her best friend: Lori Armstrong. Services will be 2 PM Friday; September 18, 2015 at Northside Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Paul Harris. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the staff at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home for their dedication to our family and this community. We also want to thank Northside Baptist Church for their thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, Kat would have appreciated donations made in her name to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. If she could leave one more thought with us, it would be to open your hearts to those in need and be of service to others. A special message from Adrianne, her daughter: "You saw me take my first breath and I saw you take your last. I love you, mom."
