Kathleen Shifflett

Kathleen Shifflett, 63, passed away October 28, 2009 at her home in Graford. She was born September 9, 1946 in Orange the daughter of J. C. and Wanda Jo Hightower Sonier. She was a longtime resident of Graford and a member of the United Methodist Church of Graford. She was the 2009 Lay Person of the Year, and served as the church treasurer from many years. She volunteered with Charlie's Angels Meals on Wheels and Helping Hands. She was a leader in the Graford 4-H for many years. Services will be 2 PM Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the United Methodist Church of Graford. Visitation is Saturday from 4-6 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband: Ronnie Shifflett of Graford, children: Melissa Rosales of Kerrville, Stephen Shifflett of Keene, Elizabeth Lemley of Possum Kingdom Lake, grandchildren: London, Dacey, and Tyler, brothers: Larry, Terry, and Jerry Sonier, and sister: Debby Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of Graford or Charlie's Angles Meals on Wheels in Kathleen's memory.
