June Roden

June Roden passed away peacefully on September 22, 2015. She was born in Mineral wells; the daughter of Earnest and Dora (Fawks) Francis. June was a lifelong resident of Mineral wells except while getting her degree in education. She spent over 40 years teaching English for MWISD; during that time she made many memories with students. She enjoyed her social life after retiring; she spent it with friends and family and enjoyed hosting bridge parties at her house. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church. Visitation will start at 1pm Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, with the funeral service following at 3pm at the church. She leaves behind son, Mark Roden and wife Joana; numerous other family members and many friends. She was preceded in death by parents, husband Charles Roden and daughter Karen Roden.
