Judy Henson

Judy Kay Henson, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 15 days. Visitation will be Wednesday July 2, 2014 from 6-8pm. Graveside service is Thursday July 3, 2014 10am at Woodland Park Cemetery. Judy was born February 14, 1953 to proud parents Robert and Frieda Henson. She attended Mineral Wells High School and graduated in 1971. Judy became the proud mother of three girls, Jessica, Jennifer and Jacquelyn. She enjoyed being a corporate buyer at S-Tec. Later in life she followed in the footsteps of her mother and entered the art world and showed excellent skill by winning awards and many recognitions. Being a true Daddy's girl, she spent many years enjoying the farm life outside of Mineral Wells with her husband, Dana Christy of 21 years, and their dog Layla. Judy was loved by many and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frieda Henson, grandparents, and many loved ones. Survivors include her father, Robert Henson; husband, Dana Christy; daughters, Jessica Wright and husband Terry (sons, Tommy and Tanner), Jennifer Johnston and husband Chris, and Jacquelyn Briggs (son, Hunter).
