Judy Marie Barnett

Judy Marie Funderburg Barnett, 73, of Mineral Wells, Tx went to be with her loving Father on August 29th, 2022. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband and family. 

Judy was many things to many people, she dedicated her life to the people she loved. She cared for her family deeply. Judy’s legacy is the way she led her family to Jesus and covered them fiercely in prayers. Aside from her love for Jesus, her love for her husband was second to none. They shared 57 beautiful years together. She has an unmeasurable amount of love for her brothers and sister. Her sister Jaymie was much like another daughter to her. Her daughters were the joys of her life. She showed them the importance of family and how to firmly build that on the foundation of God. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were precious to her heart. No matter where Judy went she shared the love and joy of the Lord. She was a light and faithful servant of God. 

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Ray Funderburg and her brothers, James and Jimmy Funderburg. 

Survived by her husband, Eddie Glenn Barnett; her mother, Wilma Schroeder; brother, Jerry Funderburg and wife Kathy; sister, Jayme Foreman and husband David; her daughters, Denise Aparicio and husband Cecil and Jana Towns and husband Willie; grandchildren, McCartney Towns, Desiree Wheaton and husband Stephen, Danial Aparicio and wife Jaime, Deanna McInroe and Todd, and Damien Aparicio and wife Chelsie; and her 11 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2022 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Perrin Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: McCartney Towns, Danial Aparicio, Damien Aparicio, Stephen Wheaton, Keegen Wheaton, Kasen Wheaton and Todd McInroe.
