Juanita Gladys Chambless

Juanita Gladys Chambless, 82, of Mineral Wells, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018. She was born November 12, 1935, to James and Oletha Knowles Robinson, in Oran. Juanita was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Juanita and her husband enjoyed traveling the Southern US together, visiting different parks. She was known as the Rose Lady because of her beautiful rose bushes she would freely give from. Juanita was an angel who walked on this earth; she was the primary caregiver of her father-in-law and sister-in-law for 20 years. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Wanda Pond and Edna Klutts; brothers, Gene and Carlton Robinson.Survivors include her husband, John Chambless, Sr.; son, John Chambless, Jr. and wife, Ginger; grandsons, Kenny Chambless and Kyle Chambless and wife, Laura; great-grandchildren, Eli and Chloe; sisters, Donna White and Linda Canada; brothers, Johnny and Ronnie Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be 2 pm, Saturday, August 4 at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 Friday evening at Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home.
