Joseph Perry Getsko

Joseph Perry "Joe" Getsko, 67, of Mineral Wells, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday at the SouthSide Church of Christ with burial in the Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.Mr. Getsko was born February 6, 1942 in McKeesport, PA. He was born to Joseph and Alda Hockersmith Getsko. He served in the United States AirForce. He married Emma Jean Warren, September 1, 1963 in Fort Worth. He was a car sales manager until he retired in 2006. They lived in Arlington for 20years before moving to Mineral wells in 2006. He attended the North Side Church of Christ.Survivors include his wife, Jean Getsko of Mineral Wels; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Bryan Magby of Arlington, Julie and David Miller ofWeatherford, Connie and David Smithey of Arlington and Lana and Richie Long of Weatherford; grandchildren, Jake, Garrett and Paige Magby, Truett and AvaMiller, Kyle and Collin Smithey and Corey and Emma Long; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alda and Norman Doyle of PA, JoAnn Miles of SC and Bernedaand Dave Arrington of PA; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
