Jose Armand Benavides

Jose Armando Benavides, 81, of Mineral Wells, passed away Friday, July 24, 2009 at his home. Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Jeff Poirot officiating. Rosary will be 5 PM Sunday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Pallbearers will be John Redwine, Matthew Rucker, Armando, Michael, Lupe and Isaac Benavides, Jose Caballero and DeRay Benavides.Mr. Benavides was born August 27, 1927 in Mexico. He retired from ACME Brick Company and was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.Survivors include his wife, Gloria Vela Benavides of Mineral Wells; sons, daughters and spouses, Aricely and Mac Rucker of Lipan, Juan and Raquel Benavides, Armando and Christy Benavides, Lupe and Tammy Benavides, Ricky Benavides, Jesse Benavides, Pancho and Ofelia Benavides, Lupita and Brett Stagner, Romeo and Renee Benavides, Adrian and Tammy Benavides all of Mineral Wells, Concha and Mario Gamino of Austin and Rosanna Benavides of Mineral Wells; 27 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, sisters and spouses, Alicia Medina of California, Elias and Maria de Jesus Benavides of Roma, TX, Josefina Ruiz of Rocksprings, and Aurora Benavides of Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.
