Jonathan Unwin

Jonathan Lee "Jon" Unwin passed away June 5, 2016 at his residence in Mineral Wells. He was born November 15, 1983 in Middleburg Heights, Ohio the son of Robert Charles and Ann Ruszbanszki Unwin. Jon served 12 years in the Air Force and was medically retired in January of 2014 after injuries he received while serving our country. He retired as a Staff Sergeant. Memorial services will be 3 PM Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Central United Methodist Church with Barry and Margie Holmes officiating. Jon is survived by his son: Chase Dominik Unwin the love of his life of Mineral Wells, mothers: Anna (Ruszbanszki) Unwin of Olmsted Township, Ohio, "Mom": Sheila Ann (Holmes) Unwin of Mineral Wells, brother: John Lewis Unwin of Graford, grandfather: Rev. Barry Holmes and wife Margie of Mineral Wells, grandmothers: Anna Ruszbanszki of Olmsted Township, Ohio, Carol Holmes of Palo Pinto, uncles: Doug and Nancy Unwin of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, Craig and Lynn Unwin of Wilmington, North Carolina, Mike Ruszbanszki of Ohio, Joe Ruszbanszki of Ohio, and aunt: Melinda Holmes of Mineral Wells. He was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents: Charlie and Wanda Unwin and Joszef Ruszbanszki. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central United Methodist Church or the Wounded Warrior Project.
