Johnnie Louise Miles

Johnnie Louise Miles, 87, passed away June 24, 2012 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. She was born June 30, 1924 in Newberry the daughter of J. E. and Anabel SimpsonLindeman. Memorial services will be 10 AM Saturday, July 21, 2012 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Buchanan officiating.Deeply faithful, Louise was active in the JOY (Just Older Youth) group at Church in the City, of Rowlett, until she moved to Mineral Wells to recuperate from a broken hip,where she attended First Baptist Church.Mrs. Miles worked well beyond normal retirement age, working as a closing officer Manager or Vice President at various Title Companies over a 60 plus year span. She wasan avid gardener and a talented artist.Mrs. Miles belonged to the Shalman Temple No. 90 Daughters of the Nile since January 1969. Her passing leaves her family and friends deeply saddened, but with great hope inthe faith we shared, knowing we will be reunited. Her positive attitude and generous spirit blessed all who knew her.She is survived by nieces: Myra Johnson and Susie Harwell, sister-in-law: Lorraine McFarland, and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Fred, and daughter: Gloria Jean.We will miss her sweet smile.
