MINERAL WELLS - John Warren Pearson, 90, passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2015.FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 29th at First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells, Texas with Pastor Nathan Buchanan officiating. Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery.MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 100 SW 4th Av, Mineral Wells, TX 76067.Warren was born July 19th 1925 in Whitt, Texas to John and Flossie Pearson. Hegraduated from Whitt High School in 1942. Warren married Nettie Mae Polk, the love ofhis life, on January 22, 1955. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, lovingfriend, and neighbor. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of MineralWells where he had a history of service and a loving church family.Warren served his country in the Korean War and then worked for the Department ofthe Army as a civilian until Fort Wolters closed. He spent his entire life raising cattle.His herd of cattle brought a smile to his face whether he was tending to them or tellingstories about them.Although his presence will be forever missed; his spirit will live forever in our hearts.Warren was preceded in death by both parents, wife Nettie, brother Boley Pearson andsister Anna Williams.SURVIVORS: Son Wayne Pearson; daughter Sharon Wallace and husband Dan;daughter Debra Marr and husband David; grandchildren, Valerie McConnell andhusband Sean and son Wyatt; Joshua Wallace; and Ronnie and Reece Marr; sistersDorothy Wenzel and Ada Moore; sister-in-law Evelyn Pearson; brother-in-laws R.L.Polk, Jr. and Weldon Greve; sister-in-law Ruby Shipley; and numerous nieces, nephewsand cousins.
