John Elden Gilbert, Jr

A Celebration of Life for John Eldon Gilbert, Jr. will be held 10 a.m., Monday, September 27, 2021 at Dobbs Valley Cemetery with Pastor Tomlin officiating. Viewing will be at 9:30 a.m.

John Elden Gilbert, 63, of Mineral Wells passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 due to complications from COVID. John was the owner of Gilbert Remodeling, former volunteer fireman of the Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department and lifetime resident of Mineral Wells.

Survivors include his daughters, Sonya Kite and husband Tater, Alexandra Gilbert and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Britney (Corvis), Kara and Clotho (CK) Kite; brother, Curtis Gilbert and wife Beverly; sisters, Connie Bohnas and husband Danny and Jo Ann Hunt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Janice Gilbert.
