John Travis Bryant

John Travis Bryant, 83, passed away June 2, 2012 in a Fort Worth hospital. He was born March 31, 1929 in Scurry County, Texas the son of John Erwin and Mabelle Roe Bryant. He married Jessie Adams on June 25, 1949 in Snyder. He had lived at Possum Kingdom Lake since 1970. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom and a past member of the Possum Kingdom Lyons Club. Services will be 11 AM Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom. Burial will follow at McAdams Cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Jessie Bryant of Possum Kingdom Lake, daughter and son-in-law: Kay and Rod Campbell of Gresham, Oregon, sons and daughter-in-law: Gary Bryant of Mineral Wells, Terry and Ruby Bryant of Abilene, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law: Herman and Sharon Bryant of Lake Palo Pinto, and sister: Barbara Bryant of Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers and sisters, and 2 grandchildren.
