Joe Frank Wilson, 73, of Mineral Wells, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in Mineral Wells. Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will be in the Tarleton Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday. Mr. Wilson was born May 30, 1936 in Mineral Wells, the son of William "Bill" and Ruth Williams Wilson. He lived all his life in Mineral Wells and was master carpenter specializing in commercial construction. He was the construction superintendent of the building of the upper floor of Palo Pinto General Hospital as well as numerous projects at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. He was a 55 year member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Union. He was a Christian and a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Pat Wilson of Mineral Wells; daughter Lea Ann Wilson Whitt of Mineral Wells; son-in-law Fury Zaidi of Dallas; step-son, Barry Allan Harrison and wife Pamela of Noble, OK.; grandchildren, Tyanna Whitt, Noah Zaidi, Derek Harrison, Jessica Harrison, Barry Lee Harrison, Tara Blackard, Louis Harrison and Gabriel Harrison; great-great-grandchildren, Caden Imhoff and Riley Blackard; brother, Paul Wilson and wife Jean of Mineral Wells; sisters, Willie Ruth Richards and husband Dennis of Yorba Linda, Ca. and Bonnie Ramsey of Graford; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
