Jimmy Charles Reasoner

Jimmy Charles Reasoner passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2022 in Fort Worth. He was born November 26,1939, in Mineral Wells, to Cecil and Juanita Burcham Reasoner.

Jimmy was a simple man. He was a people person and his passion for people made him the man that he was. He would have given the shirt off his back to a stranger if they needed it. Jimmy loved to joke around and make people laugh. The love he had for his family and friends was unconditional. He never judged anyone; he always gave them their fair share of chances. Jimmy just wanted things done right.  

His whole career was spent with Wes-Tex Vending and AVS Vending. When he would get home from work in his big white truck the grandkids and neighborhood kids would always get excited because they knew that Pepaw was home, and they were about to get some goodies.  He was famous for that and spoiled so many and he enjoyed every smile that he put on their face.  His heart was bigger than Texas and he is going to be missed by so many people.  We love you Pepaw.

Survivors include his wife, Oretha Carol Reasoner; former wife, Marilyn Jane Keane; children- Kimberly Jane Reasoner, Jimmy Charles Reasoner Jr. and wife Kim; grandchildren- James Daniel Vickers, Jeremy Blake Reasoner and wife Paige, Brandon Cole Reasoner and wife Hannah; great grandsons-Noah Vickers, Nicholas Vickers and Nova Vickers; great granddaughter- Charlie Reasoner, and soon to be great-grandson-Grayson Cole Reasoner; great-great grandchildren- Naomi Vickers and Nevah Vickers; brothers, CW Reasoner, George Reasoner, and Leon Reasoner; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Reasoner and Juanita Burcham and brother Floyd Reasoner.

Visitation will be 3-5 Sunday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2022 at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
