Jimmie Jenkins

Jimmie Royce Jenkins, 82, passed away January 2, 2017 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born April 18, 1934 in Stephenville the son of Joe C. and Pauline Tucker Jenkins. He married Marcine Glover in 1964 in Mineral Wells. He was a veteran of the US Army, and a member of the Mineral Wells Masonic Lodge. He retired from the Mineral Wells Post office after many years of service. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-7 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Nelsa and Rick Lehman of Mineral Wells; grandson and wife: Karl and Kelly Lehman of Jacksboro; great-grandchildren: Kailee, Holly, and Wyatt; and nieces: Carla Jones and Valarie Katzenstein both of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Lisa Johnson of Kodiak, Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Ellen Joyce Katzenstein, and his wife on September 6, 2013.
