Jimmie Charles Davis

Jimmie Charles Davis passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019. He was born September 17, 1942 in Whitt, Texas, to Charles "Charley" Franklin and Dona Berah (Watson) Davis. Jimmie retired as a detective from the Parker County Sheriff's Department after working for Brazoria County Sherriff's Department and the Mineral Wells Police Department. He served in the U. S. Army. He lived life his way! Jimmie loved God, his country, and his family. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.Survivors include his children, Rhonda Thomas and husband Bill, Lisa Belding and husband Doug; grandchildren, Teresa McNett, Donna Gray and husband Ricky, Gregory Belding, Kelley Belding, Miranda Belding, Reagan Belding; great-grandchildren, Robert Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Ashlyn Trevino, Briana Gray, Ryan Gray, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Ella Louise Davis, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.Visitation is 6-8 Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 31 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel with burial following at Whitt Cemetery.
