Jim Rodney Sanders, 64, passed away June 26, 2015 in a Mineral Wells hospital. He was born October 17, 1950 in Freeport the son of William Claude and Freddie Jo Alday Sanders. He was a member of the VFW Post 2399 and the Military Order of the Purple Heart. He was a past member of the National Children's Home. Services were 2 PM Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church. He was interred at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter: Chinna Lynn Sanders of Mineral Wells, son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Mary Sanders of Fort Worth, brother: Richard Sanders of Port Lavaca, sisters and brothers-in-law: Elizabeth Garrett of Spring Branch, Sherrie and Duane Miller of El Paso, Ginny and Dave Edwards of Edna, 3 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and 1 great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Linda, brother-in-law: Buddy, and 1 great-granddaughter.
