Jewel Margaret Knight

Jewel Margaret Knight, born on August 24, 1924, resident of Mineral Wells, passed away in a Fort Worth hospital on February 7, 2016. She was a homemaker and owned and operated a daycare for many years. She was a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church where she was also a member for 59 years. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6-8pm at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016, 10am, at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. She is survived by her children Sam Knight Jr. and wife Gwen of Rogers, Arkansas, Dot Knight Hazlewood and husband Roney of Burleson, Texas, Diane and husband Bob Dillon of San Antonio, Texas and Kim Ortiz and husband Carlos of Mineral Wells, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brother Larry Wilson of Albany Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam E Knight Sr., parents Perry and Dollie Wilson, 3 sisters and 8 brothers.
