Jessie A. King, 90, passed away March 24, 2017 in Mineral Wells. He was born June 10, 1926 in Bunker Hill Mississippi the son of Jesse Calhoun and Gaye Evans King. He married Terecia Frisbie on November 7, 1998 at First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of First Baptist Church. He retired from the US Air Force after almost 23 years of service. He served as a police officer for the city of Vernon. He was a loan officer at PECO Federal Credit Union. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Terecia King of Mineral Wells, son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Rhonda King of Vernon, step daughters: Lynn Mills of Granbury, Donna Power of Fort Worth, step son: Ed Lindley of Weatherford, 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brother: James Terrell King of Meridian, Mississippi, sisters: Bobbie Laverne Buckley of Columbia, Mississippi, Bettye Sue Sanford of Seminary, Mississippi, Patsy Ruth Alcorn of Covington, Louisiana, and Bert Sampley of Columbia, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Margaret Ann, and son: Robert Allen King.
