Jessie Jewel Bryant

Jessie Jewel Bryant, beloved mother, sister and granny passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024 at the age of 92. She was married to Travis Bryant for 63 wonderful years until his passing. Jessie is survived by her loving sisters, Dorothy Lankford of Snyder, TX, and Nell Baker of Hermleigh, TX. She leaves behind her three devoted children: Gary Bryant of Mineral Wells, TX, Terry Bryant of Graford, TX, and Kay Campbell of Mineral Wells, TX. Jessie was blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will all cherish her memory. Jessie was well known for her cooking around the area. She was the first cook for Charlie Self when he established Charlie’s Angel, a beloved local initiative that continues to provide. Her passion for fishing and the annual fish fry she hosted were highlights of the year, bringing joy and delicious food to many. Her legacy of love, service, and family values will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services are 10 AM Saturday, June 22, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Possum Kingdom with burial following at McAdams Cemetery.
