Jerry Lewis Floyd, 74, went to take care of the big football field in the sky on June 4, 2017. He was born June 9, 1942 in Yale, Oklahoma the son of Charles and Goldie Jones Floyd. He married Mary Ann Foskett on October 28, 1986 in Mineral Wells. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and worked for Mineral Wells ISD as a maintenance man at Miller Stadium for 20 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force having served in Vietnam. Graveside services will be 11 AM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Woodland Park Cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Mary Ann Floyd of Mineral Wells, children and spouses: Charlie and Susie Floyd of Enid, Oklahoma, Teresa and Paul Felber of Enid, Oklahoma, Jim and Robin Sutter of Meriden, Iowa, Donya and Chad Grazioli of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Kyle, Erin, Kevin, Danae, Jeri Lynn, Trent, and Emma, 5 great-grandchildren, brothers and sister-in-law: Joe Floyd of Aransas Pass, Jim Floyd of Okarche, Oklahoma, Mike and Jackie Floyd of Longview, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife: Madeline, brothers and sisters-in-law: George and Wanda, John and Emma Jean, and sisters-in-law: Geri Floyd and Ruth Ann Floyd.
