Jerry Len Cosper

Jerry Len Cosper, 61, of Millsap, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in Mineral Wells. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel, President Jeff Darden officiating. Burial will be in the Newberry Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Jason McDonald, William Cosper, Stephen Storm, Tom Crowder, Jim Norwood and Randy Thomas. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday.Mr. Cosper was born December 2, 1947, in Carrollton, Georgia, the son of William Monroe and Doris Sticher Cosper. He married Melinda McDonald August 21, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has lived in Millsap for four years and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.Survivors include his wife, Melinda Cosper of Millsap; daughters and son-in-law, Elizabeth "Bebe" and Dan Raymer of White House, Tennessee and Jenna Cosper of Millsap; sons and daughter-in-law, Jason and Emily McDonald of Fort Worth and William Cosper of Millsap; granddaughters, Danyelle Raymer and Zealy Raymer of White House, Tennessee and McKenzie McDonald of Fort Worth; brother, John Cosper of New York, New York; sisters-in-law and spouses, Pat and Jim Wright of Eastland and Jean-Anne and Gary Cheatham of Newcastle, California; numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Bobby" Cosper.
