Jeris Ann (Cade) Dotie passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was born April 10, 1956, in Long Beach, CA, to Elden Cade and Annie Pearl (Sutton) Cade.
Jeris was a graduate of Oakland Technical High School, Oakland, CA. She received her Associates Degree in Business at Cal State Hayward University, Hayward, CA. She also had various certifications in Early Childhood Development from Weatherford College, Weatherford TX.
Jerris was married to John Thomas Dottie. She worked at Paul L. Dunbar, Dallas,TX (Teachers Assistant), S-Tec, Mineral Wells TX, (Avaionics Technician), Head Start, Mineral Wells, Tx, (Services Supervisor/Director). Jeris was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Mineral Wells, TX and Keepers of the Lost, Mineral Wells, TX known as “Ms. Fancy”.
Survivors include her daughters, April Charon Dotie, Andronica IMonique Dotie-Rodriguez; brothers, Ronald Cade and Dennis Cade; sister, Bridget Cade; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held at Bethel Baptist Church 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
