Jennie Snow

Jennie Bettie Snow, 89, passed away November 9, 2012 in a Weatherford nursing home. She was born October 2, 1923 in Carrollton the daughter of John Thomas and Johnnie Kate Sheridan Weeks. She married Earl Snow on May 9, 1947 in Fort Worth. She was a longtime resident of Whitt and a member of the Perrin Church of Christ. She was an avid cook, cooking for schools and nursing homes. She was involved in benevolent work at South Main Church of Christ in Weatherford for 15 years. Before she was married she worked for Civil Service. Services will be 2 PM Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Perrin Church of Christ with Zip Breazle officiating. Burial will follow in Whitt Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Betty and Roy Blakley of Perrin, son and daughter-in-law: Tommy and Janita Snow of Weatherford, daughter-in-law: Penny Snow of Mineral Wells, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Johnny Snow, sisters: Opal Murray, Mona Wilmon, Linda Hutton, and brothers: T. J. and Cecil Weeks.
