Jeffrey George Morlatt, 62, passed away January 15, 2012 at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Graveside service is 10 AM Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Woodland Park Cemetery with William Eudy officiating. He was born November 26, 1949 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia the son of Jesse G. and Charlotte Frisch Morlatt. Jeff enlisted in the US Army when he was 18 and proudly served in the Vietnam War. He was awarder numerous medals and commendations including the National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars. Jeff Morlatt was a caring and sensitive man who loved his family and friends. He was a quiet and solitary person who loved his time at home to watch his classic movies and the Dallas Cowboys. Jeff will be missed by those who knew and loved him, he was a faithful friend. He is survived by his sons: Jeffrey G. Morlatt, Jr. and children Tyson and Cory of Mineral Wells, Texas, Jason Morlatt, wife Jennifer and children Hailee and A. J. of Jacksonville, Texas, daughter: Pamela Devin, husband Ray and children Joey and Sierra of Anchorage, Alaska, brothers: Dale, Andrew, Dicky, and Jimmy Morlatt, sisters: Gayla White and husband Jerry, Cherry Dillion and husband Joe, Melody Angles and husband Dave, and Jennifer Morlatt, and a host of nieces and nephews and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Michael D. Morlatt. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Southside Church of Christ Benevolence Ministry in Mineral Wells, Texas.
