Jearold Lynn Kelly

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, Jearold Lynn Kelly died at age 77. He was born June 26, 1945 to Larry and Anna May Kelly. 

Jearold graduated from Levelland High School in 1963. He was drafted to the army in 1967 and was a Vietnam veteran.  He started and owned several businesses, including  building  mini-storage facilities in the Levelland area. For many years he was a salesperson for Gentry Ford. When he moved to Fort Worth, he started an aerobic septic business and later sold and developed land. He was a true businessman and entrepreneur. 

Jearold enjoyed fishing, woodworking, NASCAR races, and drinking beer. You’d often find him on his back patio cooking ribs and drinking with friends or family. 

He is survived by his wife, Judy, sons Jeff (Trisha) Kelly of Burleson, TX, and Jody Kelly of Weimar, TX, stepchildren Thomas (Tonya) Parkinson of Floresville, TX, Kori (Mark) McNeal of Andover, KS, and Travis (Lynette) Parkinson of Graford, TX, 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 

A private celebration of life will be held in November at the couple’s lake home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org) in honor of Jearold’s great granddaughter who lives with CF.
