Jaunita Joyce Griffin 84 of Mineral Wells went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 10, 2011. She was born in Jacksboro, the daughter of George and Mabel Wilcox Warren. She met and married the love of her life J.L. Griffin and they were together just shy of 60 years. Jaunita touched and helped mold good values of so many lives as a Physical Education teacher, with over 40 years in education, 27 of them in Mineral Wells. In her spare time she enjoyed puzzles, watching sports and reading, and especially liked the traveling she was able to do with her sister, Noma Jo. She will be dearly missed by so many.Survivors are husband J.L Griffin; daughters Jo Joyce and husband Donn Wisdom of San Antonio, and Jean and husband Marlin Harris of Marbury Al.; sister Noma Jo Glazner of Mineral Wells; grandchildren Allyson and husband Ryan Vamplew, Jonathan Wisdom, Marlin and wife Caroline Harris, Katelyn Harris and DeLena Harris; nieces and nephews Cecelia Staten, Joe and wife Connie Glazner, Genie Lee Greer, Ricky Warren and M.A. Warren along with numerous great nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, George H. Warren.A visitation is set for Monday December 19, from 6-8 PM in the Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel. Service is Tuesday December 20, 2011 at the First Baptist Church at 1 PM, burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham. In lieu of flower the family asks that donations be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering or Paraguay Baptist Medical Center Foundation.
