Jasper Blackerby

Jasper Newton Blackerby Jr., 87, passed away October 13, 2014 in a Mineral Wells nursing home. He was born March 1, 1927 in Weatherford. He married Louise Sanders in 1952. He worked at Cantex for 38 years. Graveside services will be 11 AM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Staggs Prairie Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 AM until service time at the cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Louise Blackerby of Mineral Wells, daughters: Sylvia Blackerby and Bethann of Austin, Gail Smith and husband Eddie of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Jeremy and wife Heather, Dustin and wife Stacie, and Misti, and great-grandchildren: Hayden, Addisyn, Brennan, Chandler, Aubrie, Owen, and Emeleigh. He was preceded in death by his parents.
