Janet Eleanor Mitchell

Janet Mitchell, 85, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 in Mineral Wells, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and burial at Staggs Prairie Cemetery in Mineral Wells, Texas.  Pallbearers include Jeremiah Johnson, Mitchell Johnson, Grayson Seth, Tristan Seth, Greg Fletcher and Christopher Seth.

Janet was born into the Armijo family on December 10, 1935 in Madrid, New Mexico.  She graduated in 1954 from Santa Fe High School.  It was in Santa Fe that Janet met her husband Don and began her family.  The family moved to Mineral Wells in 1967. Janet worked twenty years at Mineral Wells City Hall before retiring.

Janet is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Don E. Mitchell; Armijo family members Pieda, Nina, Buddy, Jerry and Jessie.  She is survived by Paula (Bill) Ramsey, Karen (Greg) Fletcher, Bo (Sandy) Mitchell and Donna (Christopher) Seth.  Grandchildren include Bill Cody Ramsey, Jeremiah Johnson, Troy Ramsey, Amber Johnson, Mitchell Johnson, Blessing Arend, Grayson Seth and Tristan Seth and fourteen great grandchildren.
