Janell Eldredge

Janell Eldredge, 76, of Mineral Wells went to be with her Lord on the eve of December 31, 2011 in a Fort Worth hospital. Her children were by her side holding her hands as she slipped away. She had a battle with pneumonia and failing health. Graveside service is set for 2 PM Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Woodland Park Cemetery. She was born November 17, 1935 in Collinsville, Texas to Davy and Inez Turner. She married the love of her life, Glenn Eldredge, on November 13, 1954. They had 57 years together as they built their life. They were blessed with 2 children; daughter: Brenda Trayler and husband Steve of Mineral Wells, and son: Curtis Eldredge of Palo Pinto. They were blessed with four grandchildren: B. J. Trayler and fiancé Amy Fox of Mineral Wells, Amy Glover and husband Kenneth of Millsap, Veronica Eldredge of Shamrock, and Colton Eldredge of Millsap, and four great-grandchildren. She retired in 1984 as Jewelry Manager for Gibsons. She was a caregiver for several years for her father. Her hobby was collecting red birds and angels. She was a wonderful cook, and loved family cookouts. Her favorite saying was "just do the best you can." She loved her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and had many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. She is in heaven watching GVC. She truly blessed our lives and we will forever miss her.
