James Putman

Mineral Wells Resident James L. Putman, Jr. was born in Dickens, Texas on February 9, 1942. He died on October 9, 2016 in Weatherford. Graveside service is 10am, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Sturdivant Cemetery in Mineral Wells with Howard Wayne Putman Officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Baum-Carlock-Cumgardner Funeral Home. James is survived by Evelyn, his wife of 54 years; daughter Mary Denney (husband Tim) of Brush Creek, Tennessee; sons, James Earl Putman and Jerry Lee Putman (wife Kim), all of Mineral Wells; grandsons, James Denney (wife Amanda), Joshua Putman (wife Maria), Micah Putman, and Jamie Putman; granddaughters, Megan Atwood (husband Derek) and Kelsey Denney; great-grandchildren, Emmanuel Garcia, Mason Denney, and Jackson Atwood; and sister, Vera Holloway. He is preceded in death by his parents, James L. Putman, Sr. and Chessie Putman; sister, Valeria Eisenburg; and brother, H.L. Putman.
