James William Mitchell

James William Mitchell, 70, passed away January 15, 2015 in a Mineral Wells hospital. He was born September 27, 1944 in Hunt County the son of J. W. and Clara B. Crump Mitchell. He married JoAnn McCoy on April 6, 1987 in Glenrose. He was a Mason and a member of the Millsap Lodge. Services will be 2 PM Sunday, January 18, 2015 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Nancy Smith Cemetery in Somervell County. Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: JoAnn Mitchell of Mineral Wells, children: Jay Mitchell of Fort Worth, Scott Mitchell of Fort Worth, Mike Hutson of Walnut Springs, Tonya Hutson of Mineral Wells, Patricia Hunt of Hamilton, Cheryl Higdon of San Antonio, and Gerald Martin of Granbury, sister: Wanda Baldwin of Denton, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Willie, and son: Dewayne.
