James Edward Jackson, 55, passed from this earth to be with the Lord on February 28, 2015.Born September 08, 1959 in Mineral Wells, TX to Tommie and Junior Jackson. He was a graduate of Mineral Wells High School and attended Weatherford College where he graduated with an Associate of Arts degree. James was an entrepreneur at heart and owned a prosperous car dealership in Mineral Wells until 2008. James worked as an insurance adjuster in his spare time in many different areas around the nation.James loved to travel. He frequently visited New Orleans, LA and Las Vegas where he married the love of his life Susan Phillips Jackson on June 20, 2008. He was a child at heart and loved to fly R.C. helicopters and planes.James is survived by his wife Susan Phillips Jackson of Mineral Wells, his parents Tommie and Junior Jackson of Mineral Wells, son J.C. and wife Brandon Jackson of Mineral Wells, Daughters Kendall and husband Joe Pilgram of Mineral Wells, and Allison Jackson and partner Tanner White, Grandchildren Cainan Daniel of Mineral Wells, Tripp Jackson of Mineral Wells, Gage and Raven White of Mineral Wells and Landon Coye of Stephenville, TX.He is preceded in death by grandparents James and Nina Jackson of Mineral Wells and Richard and Patsy Annie Martin of Mineral Wells. He is also preceded in death by Uncle Edward Jackson.Funeral services for James Jackson will be Friday, March 6th 2015 at 2:00 pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. The funeral is open to family and friends. The burial will be immediately following, however; the family asks that the burial remain a private event.
