James Howard

James Leslie Howard, 62, passed away October 20, 2011 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born January 9, 1949 in Stephenville the son of Willis Leslie and Ethel Mae Settle Howard. He was a lifetime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 2 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Woodland Park Cemetery with Rev. David Wilkins officiating. He is survived by his wife: Wanda Howard, daughters: Kathy Vigeon and Teresa Patton, son: Robert Schmittling all of Mineral Wells, grandchildren and spouses: Amanda and Felix Patton, Kayla and Travis Patton, Randy Howard, Tabatha and James Johnson, Angie and Eric Odden, Robert Schmittling, and Diana Schmittling, great-grandchildren: Ashleigh Howard and 24 others, sisters and brother-in-law: Delores and Slim Sanders of Chico, Gerlene Thorton of Oklahoma, Peggy Sedile of Oklahoma, and Margie Phillips of Saginaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Ricky Schmittling, and son-in-law: Arthur Patton.
