James Woodrow Delk Sr.

James Woodrow Delk Sr., 86, passed away February 13, 2018 in Mineral Wells. He was born February 10, 1932 in Kennett, Missouri the son of George Lawrence and Georgia Louella Phillips Delk. He married Dorothy Ross on August 2, 1954 in Kennett, Missouri. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, February 17, 2018 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Holders Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: James Woodrow Jr. and Debra Delk of Pleasanton, David and Tina Delk of Mineral Wells, granddaughters and husbands: Christine Delk of Gallup, New Mexico, Jamie and Jason Fortenberry of Gallup, New Mexico, Joni and Chad Wilmeth of Springtown, step grandsons: Josh and Russell Pierce, great-grandchildren: Kaitlin, Stetson, and Hailey, step-great-grandchildren: Shaylynn and Conner, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, wife: Dorothy on February 5, 2013, son: Charles, and granddaughter: Amanda.
