Jake Davis, Jr.

Jake Davis, Jr. passed away January 27, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born March 17, 1952 in Keithville, Louisiana. He graduated from Walnut Hill School in Keithville, La in 1970. After graduation, Jake became a resident of Mineral Wells, Tx. He married Diana Morin on June 25, 1976 in Mineral Wells, Tx. He was a member (deacon) of Mount Hermon Baptist Church, under Pastor Karium Carter. Jake was a self employed Auto Mechanic for 45 years, doing a job that he loved.

Jake is preceded in death by his parents, Jake Davis, Sr. and Cora Patterson Davis; his daughter, Angela Machelle Davis; sister, Mary Jane Lewis; and his grandson, Kieren Damian Davis.                                      

He is survived by his spouse, Diana Morin Davis; sons, Jake Davis III, Joshua Leon Davis, Joseph Matthew Davis, and Miguel Angel Valley; daughter, Amy Dyanne Smith; grandchildren, Galvin Zahn, LaCoda Austin, Keira Diana, Camden Joshua Dawse, Alexander Isaac Jakob, Greyson Morgan Davis; Cooper William David Switzer, Maddox, Saige and Cash Valley; brothers, Anthony Charles Davis and Jimmie Lee Davis; sisters, Lauretta Brown, Martha Jean Brodie, Dianne Golden.

A memorial service will be held for Jake and Kieren on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church.
