Jacoby Wayne Kerr 28 of Dallas passed away October 10, 2011 in Dallas. He was born in Weatherford, the son of Jackie and Fonda Cordell Kerr. Jacoby grew up and attended school in Mineral wells. Jacoby was always the life of the party; anyone he passed would have a smile on their face, and know one was a stranger to him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved them dearly. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years and left as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. Jacoby was 4 months away from graduating at Le Cordon Bleu culinary arts school; he worked as a chef at Baylor Medical Center, and at the Dallas Cowboy stadium. Survivors are parents Jackie and Fonda Kerr of Mineral Wells; sisters Lacy and husband Andy Snider of Weatherford, Misty Moore of Mineral Wells, Camille Moore of Arlington and Lindy Meeks of Mineral Wells; grandparents Joe and wife Jackie Moore, and Arnold and wife Bobbie Keel; along with 2 nieces and 1 nephew. A visitation is scheduled for Thursday at the funeral home from 6-8 PM. The funeral service is on Friday at the Church of God at 10 AM with Rev Jerrel Tomlin officiating, burial following at Woodland Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Cox, Bobby Conger, Cameron Bryson, Kolton Gonzales, Terrell Radford, Justin Plyler, Zack Johns and Brandon Wilborn.
