Jack Wayne Burns

Jack Wayne Burns, 69, passed away January 21, 2019 at his home in Mineral Wells. He was born December 23, 1949 in Mineral Wells the son of Clyde and Iva Glover Burns. He married Ann Schmidt on November 18, 1978 in Mineral Wells. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Leaning Tree Church. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. He loved to hunt and fish and he loved his guns. He loved his family and loved his home. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Pond Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his son: Cecil Huddleston, grandson and wife: Matt and Leeza Hale, great-grandchildren: Shane, Jaycee and Dillon, siblings: Norman Burns, Roger Burns, Ramona Evans, Paul Burns, and Sheri Hale, and numerous extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and his wife Ann on July 13, 2017.
