Ivy Marie Chandler

Ivy McShan Chandler passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 96 due to natural causes. She was born August 4, 1928 in De Kalb, Tx to Elijah and Eva Caroway Beard. 

 Ivy spent most of her life in the Mineral Wells area. She worked in the food service industry for 45 plus years spanning from the Baker Hotel to Shotguns Bar-B-Q. Ivy formed many relationships over the years while serving many generations of families.

 Ivy is survived by her three children, Linda Houston Jordan, Sue Houston Court, and Tony Houston. She is also survived by three grandchildren Rhonda and husband Clay Powell, Jeff Sitton, Bryan and wife Jessica Darden. Ivy is also survived by six great grandchildren, Broox and Jax Powell, Jacy Sitton, Valerie Gillispie, John and Luke Darden.

 Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 31 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
