Irene Huffaker

Irene Bevers Huffaker was born to John and Josephine Bevers on February 2, 1922. She went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2016. She married Fred Huffaker on March 9, 1940 they had one daughter, Singa Huffaker Bernon. She worked at Southside Grocery for many years. She had a love for gardening, cooking, drawing, and painting. She was a member of 11th Avenue Church. She loved all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home Annex. Survivors include her grandchildren: Scott, Cody, and Elias Cienega, Amy Menchaca, and Elisa Bernon, great-grandchildren: Aaron Wheeler, Samantha, Jacob, Ethan, and Coby Cienega, Elianna Menchaca, Emily, Andrew, and Paizlee Cienega, Destini Bernon, Hailee Cienega, Ava and Aubri Ortiz, and Connor Cienega. She was preceded in death by her husband: Fred Huffaker on October 30, 1997.
