India Marie Bonich

India Marie Bonich died on the morning of February 24, 2008 due to complications from cancer. The youngest of four siblings, she was born and raised in Hyattstown, MD. It was during her tenure working at a restaurant in Frederick, MD that she met her husband of 30 years, Richard Bonich. They married in 1971 and in 1975 they moved to Woodbridge, VA where they raised their only son.India was known for her joyful and outgoing demeanor. She was well known amongst her friends and family for her generosity and always putting the needs of her family first. She loved animals and raised several dogs in her lifetime. In 2005, India moved to Mineral Wells, TX. She is survived by her brother, John Hardy, her sister, Pat Lawson, and her son, John Bonich.Services will be held at Baum - Carlock - Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral wells, TX on Saturday, February 28 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Cancer Research Institute, Hospice or the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
