Ima Pemberton

Ima Dene Evans Pemberton, 74, passed away June 5, 2011 at her home in Mineral Wells. She was born May 19, 1937 in Olney the daughter of Walter C. and Eula Blair Evans. She obeyed the Gospel at age 10. After graduating from Newcastle High School, she married Ronald Pemberton in Graham, then moved to Mineral Wells and became a member of the Eastside Church Of Christ. Services will be at 2 PM Thursday, June 9, 2011 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Sturdivant Cemetery. Visitation is from 7-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband: Ronald Pemberton of Mineral Wells, children and spouses: Kenny Alwin Pemberton of Mineral Wells, La Deana Kaye and Charlie Parrack of Mineral Wells and Houston, Brenda Gaye and George Mayfield of Mineral Wells, and Erin Dale Pemberton of Mineral Wells, half sister Leo McWhorter, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, lots of nieces, nephews, wonderful and caring relatives, and wonderful caring Christian brothers and sisters throughout the brotherhood.
