Ima Oleta Campbell, 88, passed away January 26, 2009 in a Mineral Wells hospital. She was born February 3, 1920 in Agnes the daughter of William C. and Annie Gilliland Montgomery. She married Herbert Campbell on December 23, 1950 in Mineral Wells. She was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells, and a member of First Christian Church since 1956. She was a Pythian Sister for over 50 years. She loved to bowl and play 42. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Ranger fan. Services will be 10 AM Thursday, Janaury 29, 2009 at First Christian Church with Rev. Max K. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her nephews and spouses: Waymon and Carolyn Hamilton, Ronnie and Pat Montgomery both of Weatherford, nieces and spouses: Betty Hamilton, Ima Lee and Hardin Moore, Annie and James Rhodes all of Mineral Wells, Wanda and Lester Bobo, Sandra and Bob Dennis both of Hurst, Kay and Ken Watts of Leesburg, Connie and Glynn Tucker of Duncanville, Nancy and Mickey Yeager of Benbrook, 8 great nephews, 14 great nieces, numerous great-great nephews, sister-in-law: Ella Elwood of Weatherford, and numerous Pythian Sisters and a loving church family. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 15, 1989, her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and nephew: Leroy Hamilton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Christian Church in her memory. The family would like to say thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Palo Pinto General Hospital and home health for all the loving care they gave her.
