Illa Fae Driggers

A celebration of life for Illa Fae Driggers, of Mineral Wells will be on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells. Interment will follow at Perrin Memorial Park Cemetery.Illa Fae Driggers was born on May 25, 1931 in Bowie, Texas and went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Quitman, Texas, at the age of 82. Illa lived in Mineral Wells the majority of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church Mineral Wells for 67 years, where she taught children's Sunday school for over 40 years.Illa was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Fidler (1945) and Lillian Fidler (1988), and brother, Bobby Fidler (1944). She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Fred Rowe Driggers; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tracy Driggers of Weatherford; daughter and son-in-law, Kurt and Brenda Kelley of Quitman; four grandchildren: Amber Kennedy, Laurie Silva, Trent Kelley and Kaiti Kelley; and great-grandchildren: Adalyn Kennedy, Rylan Kennedy and Emery Silva. She is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Nelda Fidler of Mineral Wells, one sister, Lila Salazar of Corinth, and several nephews.The family will receive friends and family for visitation on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells.
