Ila Pearl Morgan

Ila Pearl Morgan, 87, passed away April 4, 2012 in a Fort Worth nursing home. She was born March 18, 1925 in Clifton, Arkansas the daughter of Alby and Daisy Williams Langston. She married James F. Morgan on December 24, 1941 in Diehlstadt, Missouri. She had lived in Mineral Wells for the past 9 years. She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Odessa. She was a past member and treasurer of Sharon Baptist Church in Long Beach, California. Services will be 2 PM Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. Ferel Gage officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Cheryl and Tom Murphey of Millsap, granddaughter: Megan Renee Murphey of Houston, brothers: Amon Langston of Odessa, Ozrow Langston of Aurora, Illinois, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on July 15, 1994, and 2 brothers.
