I.L. Patterson of Mineral Wells passed away surrounded by family on March 9, 2013. I.L. was born in Millsap, December 5, 1933 the son of the late Isaiah Levi Sr. and Jewel fay (Stubblefield) Patterson. He stood proud for his country while serving in the U.S. Navy; after his service to his country he took up a building trade, which fit him right; I.L. could create a work of art with his hands so being a tile contractor was easy for him. In his later years he took up farming, this he enjoyed very much. He was an avid golfer and loved the outdoors; if he was not on the golf course you could probably find him at the end of a fishing pole. What I.L. loved the most was his family, and he left behind so many that will miss him dearly. Wife: Beverly Patterson of Mineral Wells; sons: Carlton Ray and wife Ronda Patterson and Clint Levi and wife Kim Patterson of Cool, stepsons: Kenny and wife Starlene Kelley of Mineral Wells and Heath and wife Laurie Kelley of Bryson, grandchildren: Dusty, Kristy, William, Gracie, Alexis, Krystle, Kyle, Kayla, Wyatt, Jessica and Conner, Great-grandchildren: Jessie, Leland, Kendall, and, Landon, brothers: Johnny and wife Carolyn, Ned and wife Rita, and Wendell and wife Jodie, sisters: Maxine, Ramona, Billie Jean and husband H.L.
