Howard Tuck Sarver, 72, of Mineral Wells, died Thursday March 12, 2009, in a Dallas hospital. He was born August 17, 1936, in New Port, Virginia, to Prentice Lemual and Virginia Isabell Carbaugh Sarver. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was member of the Mineral Wells Masonic Lodge, Disabled American Veterans, and the Church of God. Services will be 2 PM Monday, Mach 16, 2009 at the Church of God with Rev. Jerrell Tomlin and Rev. Carl Word officiating. Burial will follow in Dobbs Valley Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Joyce Sarver of Mineral Wells, sons and daughter-in-law: Howard Dwayne Sarver of Mineral Wells, Christopher and Amber Sarver of Mineral Wells, daughter and son-in-law: Joyce Elaine and Craig Mohr of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Kara Sarver of Mineral Wells, Rachel Martin of Arlington, Kayla Sarver of Mineral Wells, Dustin Sarver of Graford, Madison Sarver of Mineral Wells, Travis Mohr of Mineral Wells, Tyler Mohr of Mineral Wells, great-granddaughter: Aubrey Martin of Arlington, brother: Curtis Sarver of New Port, Virginia, sister: Beatrice Hypes of Blacksburg, Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son: Mark E. Sarver.
