Herman Bryant

Herman D. Bryant, 81, passed away August 13, 2016 at his home at Lake Palo Pinto. He was born June 15, 1935 in Camp Springs the son of John E. and Maybelle Roe Bryant. He married Sharon Ballenger on March 31, 1973 in Mineral Wells. He had lived at Lake Palo Pinto for the past 22 years. He was a member of the Church by the Lake. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War. He worked at True Value Hardware in Mineral Wells for many years. Services will be 2 PM Monday, August 18, 2016 at the Church by the Lake at Lake Palo Pinto. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Sharon Bryant of Lake Palo Pinto, children and spouses: Darrel and Monica Bryant of Clifton, Tammy Kenney of Weatherford, Vickie Moenning of Lake Palo Pinto, Sharilyn Doyle of Mineral Wells, Terri and Brant White of Stephenville, Lisa Doyle of Mineral Wells, John Bryant of Lake Palo Pinto, Curt and Holly Doyle of Strawn, Shelby Bryant of Lake Palo Pinto, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, grandson: Tyler Cox, son: Alvin, and mother-in-law and father-in-law: Adear and Myrtle Ballenger.
